Blagden Makes All-Tournament Team For Trinity Volleyball At Brandeis Invite
Waltham, Mass. - Sophomore Sarah Blagden (Charleston, S.C.) was named to the all-tournament and the Trinity College Bantams posted a 2-2 record in the Brandeis University Volleyball Invitational with a pair of losses this afternoon. Trinity falls to 2-2 with a 25-14, 28-26, 25-18 loss to the University of Massachusetts-Boston Beacons and a 25-17, 23-25, 25-10, 25-19 loss to No. 25-ranked Williams College in the gold bracket of the tournament.
Blagden had five kills, 11 digs, and three aces against the Beacons and nine kills with a team-high 32 digs against Williams, while Bantam freshman OH Danielle Isaman (West Hartford, Conn.) notched a team-high nine kills against Mass.-Boston and 16 kills and 12 digs against Williams. Trinity sophomore S Jen Low (San Francisco, Calif.) contributed 38 assists in the two matches.
