Trinity Volleyball Splits Five-Setters At Wheaton

Norton, Mass. - The Trinity College volleyball team downed the Roger Williams Hawks, 3-2, but lost to the host Wheaton College Lyons by the same score in a tri-match this afternoon. Trinity, which moves to 6-3, buried the Hawks in the fifth set, 25-11, but lost, 21-19, to Wheaton in that fifth set despite serving for the win up, 19-18.
Bantam freshman OH Danielle Isaman (West Hartford, Conn.) totaled 38 kills, while junior co-captain Kristen Anderson (West Haven, Conn.) contributed 25 kills in the two matches. Anderson also had seven aces against Wheaton, while sophomore Alexandra Pell (San Diego, Calif.) notched eight aces against Roger Williams and 24 digs against Wheaton, and sophomore MH Courtney Chaloff (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) added 4.5 blocks in the Wheaton match.
