Trinity Volleyball Wins First Two Home Matches
Hartford, Conn. - Sophomore L Alexandra Pell (San Diego, Calif.) totaled 23 digs and five service aces to lead the Trinity College Bantams to 3-0 wins over the visiting Clark University Cougars and Wentworth Institute of Technology Leopards in a tri-match this afternoon at Oosting Gymnasium. Trinity playing at home for the first time this season, improves to 9-5, while Clark, which downed the Leopards, 3-0, is now 5-9 and Wentworth is 3-19.
Trinity downed Clark, 25-14, 25-23, 25-23, and Wentworth, 25-5, 25-7, 25-20, while Clark defeated Wentworth, 25-18, 25-20, 25-18. Trinity freshman OH Danielle Isaman (West Hartford, Conn.) had 20 kills, two aces, and 14 digs in the two matches, while sophomore MH Courtney Chaloff (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) added seven blocks for the day. Emily Visone (West Hampstead, N.Y.) totaled 32 digs in Clark's two matches and Courtney Zink (East Falmouth, Mass.) registered 31 assists in the two Leopard matches.
