Hartford, Conn. - Gary Mullin, who was an assistant coach for the Trinity College volleyball team for the last five seasons, was announced as the University of Bridgeport Head Volleyball Coach on June 23. Mullin played volleyball at Yale University, where he received All-American honors, and for the United States Volleyball Team in the World University Games. He has previously coached the men's volleyball squad at his alma mater into the NCAA Division I Final Four, and both men's and women's volleyball at Amity and West Haven High schools in Connecticut. Mullin, whose daughter, Ariana, was an all-star softball player for the Bantams, helped Trinity post a 75-40 record and reach five post-seasons in a row.
