    Trinity Volleyball 2016 Season Recap Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College volleyball team, under the direction of Head Coach Jen Bowman (13th season), finished the 2016 season with an 10-13 overall record and finished in tenth place in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) with a 1-9 record in league play. A youthful Bantams squad that experienced highs and lows this fall, gained valuable experience that sets the team up to be successful next season.

    Eight Trinity Fall Athletes Named to All-Sportsmanship Team Hartford, Conn. - Eight Trinity College fall athletes were named to the 2016 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Sportsmanship Team for their positive contributions to sportsmanship. Golf sophomore Jack Junge (Lincolnshire, Ill.) earned his first appearance on the team after earning All-NESCAC First Team honors earlier this fall, and was joined by men's cross country junior Kyle Larsson (Franklin Lakes, N.J.), women's cross country senior captain Sophie Long (Darien, Conn.), field hockey senior tri-captain Sydney Doolittle (Milford, Conn.), men's soccer senior captain Oliver Murphy (Montclair, N.J.), women's soccer junior Jillian Ramsay (Glastonbury, Conn.), football senior Patrick Dorsey (Lynn, Mass.), and volleyball senior tri-captain Rachel Huges (Boxborough, Mass.).

    Volleyball Drops Hard Fought Match to Williams in Regular Season Finale Williamstown, Mass. - The Trinity College Volleyball team lost a hard fought, five-set match to the Williams College Ephs on Saturday afternoon in the team's regular season finale. Trinity finishes the season with a 10-13 overall record while Williams wraps up the regular season schedule at 13-10.

First-year volleyball outside hitter Wyllie Boughton (Andover, Mass.) and junior football QB Sonny Puzzo (West Caldwell, N.J.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Volleyball Blanks Emmanuel on First Day of Hall of Fame Invitational Northampton, Mass. - The Trinity College volleyball team knocked off the Emmanuel College Saints, 3-0, on Friday night on the first day of the Hall of Fame Volleyball Invitational Tournament, hosted by Smith College and Amherst College. The win moves Trinity to 9-10 overall while Emmanuel falls to 10-18 on the season.

Senior volleyball tri-captain Randi Whitham (Weymouth, Mass.) and sophomore football kicker Eric Sachse (Jefferson, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    For Three Volleyball Seniors, Time Abroad Left Lasting Impact Studying abroad has become very popular trend amongst college students all over the country as it often serves as a life changing experience for those who do it. Trinity offers nine different abroad sites for students to spend a semester, a year, or even just a few weeks over the summer to explore the country they choose and invest themselves in its culture while simultaneously gaining course credit. While at other schools it is very hard for athletes to take part in this life-changing experience, it is very easy and almost encouraged for fall and spring athletes to study abroad for a semester at Trinity and other division three schools.

    Volleyball Dominates St. Joseph on Dig Pink Night Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College volleyball team knocked off the University of St. Joseph in straight sets on Tuesday night in Oosting Gymnasium on Dig Pink night. Trinity improves to 5-8 overall with the win while the Blue Jays fall to 7-8 on the year. Dig Pink is a fundraising initiative for breast cancer awareness created by The Side-Out Foundation which directly funds "game-changing" breast cancer research and support. Trinity donned pink uniforms for the evening while fans wore pink in the crowd.

    Volleyball Sweeps Mitchell For Third Straight Win as Whitham Enters Record Book New London, Conn. - Senior tri-captain Randi Whitham (Weymouth, Mass.) recorded her 1,000th career assist as the Trinity College volleyball team blanked the Mitchell College Mariners on Tuesday evening in New London to earn their third straight win. The Bantams won by set scores of 25-23, 25-15, and 25-18, in their fourth 3-0 victory of the season and third in as many games while Mitchell falls to 3-7 after the setback.

    Trinity Volleyball Dominates in Doubleheader on Saturday Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Volleyball team was dominant in two games on Saturday, sweeping both the Colby-Sawyer Chargers and the Husson Eagles, 3-0, respectively, to improve to 3-6 on the year. The Bantams knocked off the Chargers by set scores of 25-19, 25-11, and 25-21 in the day's first match and followed with a 25-19, 25-10, 25-11 victory over Husson at 3 p.m. Trinity returns to action on Tuesday, September 27, as they travel to Mitchell College to face the Mariners at 7 p.m.
