  • Volleyball Sweeps Doubleheader at Rhode Island College

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College volleyball team swept Plymouth State in game one before grinding out a 3-2 victory over host Rhode Island College in a pair of matches on Saturday in Providence. The Bantams improve to 7-3 on the year with the doubleheader sweep and return to the court next Friday for a home New England Small College Athletic College (NESCAC) versus in-state rival Wesleyan University.

    Amherst, Mass. - Despite winning the first set, 25-19, the Trinity College volleyball team fell, 3-1, to the Amherst College Mammoths on Friday night at LeFrak Gymnasium.

    The Trinity College volleyball team went 2-1 last week to improve to 5-2 overall entering the third week of the season. The Bantams return to action this week on Friday when they travel to New England Small College Athletics Conference (NESCAC) opponent, Amherst for a 7 p.m. match. The team then plays a pair of games on Saturday at Rhode Island College, against the Anchormen and Plymouth State.

    Middlebury, Vt. - The Middlebury volleyball team dropped a tight opening set, but rebounded to claim the final three during a four-set victory over the Trinity College Bantams on Saturday in Pepin Gymnasium.
  • Volleyball Wins Fifth Consecutive Match With Sweep Over Southern Vermont

    Bennington, Vt. - The Trinity College volleyball team came away with a 3-0 sweep of Southern Vermont on Friday night for its fifth-straight win to improve to 5-1 on the year. The Bantams won by set scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-22 and tallied eight aces in the victory.
  • Underwood, Rosenfield Named as Bantams of the Week

    Hartford, Conn. - With the 2018 fall season officially underway, this year's first Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the volleyball court and golf course. Senior volleyball co-captain Rachel Underwood (Danville, Calif.) and senior men's golf tri-captain Will Rosenfield (Baltimore, Md.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.
  • Volleyball Makes It Four Straight With Victory Over Western Connecticut State

    Danbury, Conn. - Despite dropping the first set, 25-17, the Trinity College volleyball team came back to take the next three and pick up a 3-1 victory over the Western Connecticut State Colonials on Tuesday night in Danbury. The win is Trinity's fourth in a row as it moves to 4-1 on the year. WCSU falls to 4-5 overall with the loss.

     The Trinity College volleyball team enters the second week of action with a 3-1 record after a busy weekend hosting, and sweeping the Trinity Volleyball Invitational. The Bantams dropped their season opener, 3-2, on Wednesday to Coast Guard, before picking up victories over ECSU, Clark and Westfield State over the weekend.

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College Bantams scored four of the final five points of the match to earn a thrilling, 15-13, win in the deciding fifth set and a 3-2, comeback victory over the visiting Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors in front of a loud and enthusiastic crowd on the opening night of the Trinity College Volleyball Invitational at Oosting Gymnasium this evening.

    Hartford, Conn. – Freshman OH Amanda Dake (Victor, N.Y.) had nine kills and nine digs to lead the visiting United States Coast Guard Academy Bears to a 3-0 victory over the Trinity College Bantams in volleyball action this evening at Oosting Gymnasium. 
  • Trinity Volleyball Welcomes Back Peter Maneggia, Jr. to Coaching Staff

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College volleyball team welcomes back Peter Maneggia, Jr. to the coaching staff for the upcoming 2018 season. Maneggia was the head men's and women's coach at Nichols College last season after previously working as an assistant for the Bantams before that. Trinity, led by Head Coach Jen Bowman (15th season), opens the 2018 season on Wednesday at home versus Coast Guard at 7 p.m.
