Lemire Leads Trinity Women's Cross Country To Ninth At Saratoga Meet
Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - Senior tri-captain Allie Lemire (East Hartford, Conn.) finished 11th overall with a time of 18:32 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to ninth place in the women's race of the Saratoga Cross Country Invitational this afternoon at Saratoga Spa State Park.
Trinity finished with 261 to edge event-host Rensselaer by one point, while St. Lawrence finished first with 65 points. Lemire finished second of a close group six runners just four seconds apart and 1:04 behind the pace of the first-place runner. Bantam freshman Reagan Aylmer (Moweaqua, Ill.) came in 36th place and classmate Katlin Mock (Albany, N.Y.) was 47th.
