Trinity Women's Cross Country Finishes 6th In Home Invitational

Manchester, Conn. - Senior co-captain Giselle Harrington (Warner, N.H.) ran the 4,000-meter race in 17:36 for a 19th-place finish to lead the Trinity College women's cross country team to a sixth-place finish in the season-opening Trinity College Invitational this afternoon at Wickham Park.  College of New Jersey won the team tile, taking four of the top seven places in the standings, while Amy Wilfert, of Tufts, placed first individually with a time of 15:56.  Trinity totaled 160 points, which was two shy of Division I Hartford in fifth place.
