    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College women's cross country team, coach by George Suitor (25th season), had a solid fall season highlighted by finishing among the top-10 in five of their seven meets. The Bantams won season opening Trinity Invitational, placed second in the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University and claimed third at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational in late September.

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College fall athletic teams placed 45 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2016 Fall All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Wednesday. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.40. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.

    Hartford, Conn. - Eight Trinity College fall athletes were named to the 2016 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Sportsmanship Team for their positive contributions to sportsmanship. Golf sophomore Jack Junge (Lincolnshire, Ill.) earned his first appearance on the team after earning All-NESCAC First Team honors earlier this fall, and was joined by men's cross country junior Kyle Larsson (Franklin Lakes, N.J.), women's cross country senior captain Sophie Long (Darien, Conn.), field hockey senior tri-captain Sydney Doolittle (Milford, Conn.), men's soccer senior captain Oliver Murphy (Montclair, N.J.), women's soccer junior Jillian Ramsay (Glastonbury, Conn.), football senior Patrick Dorsey (Lynn, Mass.), and volleyball senior tri-captain Rachel Huges (Boxborough, Mass.).

    Waterville, Maine. - The Trinity College women's cross country team placed 10th at the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon in rainy Waterville, Maine. Sophomore Caroline Sullivan (South Hadley, Mass.) paced the Bantams harriers with a time of 24:32.81, good for 50th place. Sophomores Lauren Barrett (Peabody, Mass.) and Anna Barnes (Storrs, Conn.) finished just a second apart to place 64th and 65th respectively for Trinity.

    Waterford, Conn. - Four Bantam runners finished in the top-50 as the Trinity College women's cross country team came in seventh place out of 21 competing teams on Saturday at the Connecticut College Cross Country Invitational at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Connecticut. Trinity finished a single point in front of eighth place Salve Regina and just ten points behind York College who finished sixth. All four top-50 finishes by Trinity were separated by a mere 29 seconds.
